Huntington Beach, Pub Crawl

Saturday March 10th downtown Huntington Beach was swarming with tons super heros all on the same mission: to drink and have a good time. Captain America, Spiderman, Super Mario, and costume contest winners, Beer Man and Beer Girl, are just a few of the super heros that partied their capes off downtown.

This years pub crawl super sponsors included Hurricanes, Perqs, Partybus Entertainment, 2nd Floor, HB Beer Co, Gallagher’s Pub, Tuna Town, Black Bull Chop House, Pro Music Rentals, Rock Water, Surfrider Foundation, Got OC, and OCWeekly. This was OCWeekly’s 4th Super Hero Pub Crawl. OCWeekly put on the whole event, took professional photos (see them here), and gave away super hero worthy prizes like a free party bus rental.

Surfrider Foundation was at the event signing up participants for their 5th annual Rock Water Race on Saturday March 24th http://newportbeach.surfrider.org/rockwater

Not only was the event an excellent excuse to wear neon tights in public, but pub crawl participating bars offered drink specials and entertainment. Entertainment included contests, live music, a photo booth, trivia, and an art show, and even a private patio bar exclusively for super heros. OCWeekly plans on sponsoring a 5th Super Hero Pub Crawl, so start planning your costume!
